Ok, because of Oriol’s comment I tried to redo the screen ruler example by using the javafx-exporter for photoshop, that kinda ships with javafx.
I don’t like the new code so much because it doesn’t showcase any of the nice language features anymore (which was my initial intention).
However, it gets the code down to:
